These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tejas mobile application, this website, and any related services (together, the "Service") operated by Tejas, a product based in India ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using Tejas you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. Important disclaimer — read this first

Tejas is an AI life manager. It generates personalised daily reflections using AI models, based on the information you provide and the patterns it observes over time. The Service is intended for personal, reflective, and entertainment purposes only. It is not:

• A substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
• Legal, financial, investment, or tax advice.
• A guarantee of any outcome, a prediction of future events, or a substitute for your own judgement.
• A diagnosis of any condition or a treatment plan for any issue.

AI-generated guidance can be wrong, incomplete, or simply a poor fit for your situation. Treat every line as a prompt for your own thinking, not as instruction. If you are in distress or crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service. Any decision you take based on content shown in Tejas is your own responsibility.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Service.
• If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
• You must be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate profile information. Inaccurate details will produce less useful guidance — that's on you, not on us.
• You can close your account at any time. We can also suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, after reasonable notice where possible.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• The core daily guidance is free. Certain advanced features ("Tejas Premium") require a paid subscription.
• Subscription pricing, renewal period, and features are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed by the relevant app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). Their terms and refund policies apply alongside these Terms.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, managed through your app-store account.
• Free trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where allowed by law.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or otherwise systematically extract content from the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to train a machine learning model.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, abuse other users, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or personal details with the intent to deceive.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

6. Our intellectual property

All content in the Service — the app interface, text, audio, graphics, logos, brand marks, and underlying code — is owned by Tejas or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

"Tejas", the Tejas logo, and all associated marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission except in a purely descriptive sense.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (including journal notes, ratings, feedback). By submitting content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you.

If you voluntarily send us feedback, suggestions, or feature ideas, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation.

8. Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, app stores, notification providers, or payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their respective terms.

9. Service availability and changes

• We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
• We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Where a change is material and adverse to paying subscribers, we will give reasonable notice.
• We may perform scheduled maintenance, during which parts of the Service may be unavailable.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any content, prediction, or guidance generated by the Service is accurate, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Tejas nor its officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000 (one thousand Indian Rupees).

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. If those laws apply to you, some of the exclusions or limitations above may not apply, and you may have additional rights.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tejas from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual-property or privacy right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, after reasonable notice where possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India, except where mandatory local law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will notify you in-app and by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Service after the change takes effect, you are agreeing to the updated Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Service before that date.

16. Miscellaneous

• If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.
• Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
• You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale.
• These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Tejas regarding the Service.
